I remember when I was 6. My grandad always used to take me to places and I remember the one place where we both loved. It was Ilkley, and I remember, the first time he took me there we went on the train. and at the train station in Ilkley there was a sweet shop! he bought be loads of sweets to eat (almost more than he could afford!). After, we visited The 'old man's house' Or what I call these days, the old manor house by the river in Ilkley town. The old man house is a museum and Art gallery. We was in the old manor house for hours! I got slightly bored by the end but was thoroughly entertained by my sweets grandad had bought. Outside the museum was a park. in the park I bought an Ice cream and then we played on the swings and slides. With me, I had a inflatable football, it was yellow and had spots on it, like a tiger! Me and Grandad had being playing football, Despite his age, for hours and we made our way towards the riverbank. Here I started kicking the football up and down, pretending i was a professional. Suddenly a large gust of wind threw me over and the ball went flying into the river. I jumped to my feet crying my eyes out as i had lost my ball, Grandad at the time had just returned from the toilet and when i told him the first thing he said was: 'That ball, is going to Norway!' And now to this day, my yellow spotty ball is on its way to Norway! I might go find it someday :')
